HYGROMIX® Silo Mixture I is suitable for intensive, multiple-layer structures and has proved itself due to its structural stability and high water storage capability. The hard peat content is not peat in the classical sense, rather it is a raw material that occurs exclusively in Messel. This strongly hydrated claystone includes 25 - 30% organic substance, it is very structurally stable and thus available for a long time. The small piled weight contributes to lowering transportation costs.

HYGROMIX® Silo Mixture I is universally suited for demanding, intensive planting. According to the selected fill height, taller shrubs and woody plants can be planted without problems. The stable volume guarantees that no large-scale settlement will occur after installation.

Delivery of the roof substrates can be through blowing from a silo truck free to the roof, or it can be loosely piled, or delivered in big bags or sacks.
