The ecological advantages of water-bound path surfacing are in a high water storage capacity during rainfall and in the continuous discharge of the stored water during dry periods.
Thus, on the one hand, a relief of the sewer system and the stability of the groundwater level are achieved, and on the other hand, there is an improvement of tropospheric climate.
Water-bound path surfacing from the house of GELSENROT is subject to continuous internal control checking in the factory laboratory, as well as to external monitoring through officially certified institutes. It meets the requirements of the FLL special report on "Design, Construction and Maintenance of Water-bound Paths" and/or of the DIN 18035-5.
